Crunchy Cabbage Salad

In an effort to eat just a teensy bit healthier these days I came across a cabbage salad recipe that we all really enjoyed.
Crunchy Cabbage Salad
1/2 head cabbage shredded
1/4 cup toasted slivered almonds
3 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Green onions to taste
Beni Shoga (pickled ginger) to taste
1/2 cup grated squash

Dressing
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
salt & pepper

Toss it all together and serve with bread.

I forgot to take a picture of the tossed salad but remembered at the end of dinner. Just further proof that it was very yummy!
