Apples & Cinnamon

After drooling over this post the other day from Kate for Cinnamon Apple Stuffed French Toast, I decided to use the french toast filling as a waffle topping this morning. Everyone really enjoyed them and it was really easy.

1/4 cup butter
2 apples peeled and chopped
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

4 oz cream cheese, softened.

Melt the butter in a small frying pan, add the apples, sugar, and cinnamon.

Cook for about 5-8 minutes until the apples cook and soften.

Mix the apples with cream cheese.

Serve over waffles.
